    Hi,

I'm afraid we can't help you there! That is out of the scope of the AdSense
    APIs.

[Inside AdSense] Review your contact information to ensure delivery of important AdSense messages

Throughout your journey as a publisher, we occasionally get in touch to provide information related to your participation in AdSense, such as account and product updates. Our goal is to ensure that this type of information, in addition to other types of messages you can enable like optimization tips, reaches you in a timely fashion so that you can review it and take action. However, sometimes we're not able to reach you because we have incorrect contact information.

We've all been there - we receive too many pieces of information, so we provide a different, less frequently checked email address for an online site we're signing up for. Or we move, change email addresses, and forget to update contact details for different services. It's a common occurrence, so we wanted to take this opportunity to ask you to review your contact information in your AdSense account to ensure we have your preferred information. We use the contact details entered in your account to reach you, so it's important that they're accurate. As always, Google will only collect and use the information that you provide in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

To update your contact information, log in to your account and visit the Account settings page under the Home tab. Under Personal settings, click "edit" and enter the desired data in the contact name, contact email and contact phone fields, then press "Save". If you have multiple users for your account, we encourage each user to check their contact information.

Thanks for helping us continue our partnership with you.

I've not heard of Maya Shop. This doesn't sound like a WP issue, it
sounds like you need to visit the available help and/or forum boards at
the Maya Shop website or whatever instructions available for Maya Shop.
Plugins generally have their individual way of doing things.

    Hi Ash,

Problem with that approach is that not all of your prospective clients will
only want to have the box standard website, they might want to add
customised stuff etc... On the other hand I´d not call myself a developer
if the only thing I do is reskinning an existing template. Once you learn
how to do your first template it only gets easier.

    Hi Ash,

I totally agree with Mauricio, as not all clients will want something out
of the box but may want something more customised and personal. I speak
from personal experience when I say it isn't always the easiest thing in
the world to customise wordpress outside of themes unless you are willing
to make your own plugins to perform the functionality the client requires.
I try to avoid using others' plugins for clients because they may become
unsupported etc so try to do as much as possible yourself.

Also try to avoid reskinning an exsisting template because that can also
give errors, remember that if you do reskin to do this via a child-theme
and not overwrite exsisting css and php files.

I'm looking into branching out my business more into web
design/development. i'm looking at getting my feet wet with Wordpress
and/or Drupal and am wondering how much is done templating vs skinning
existing templates. Which is better to get started?

    Thanks!

    Neal,
Your site is a little too Wordpress. Have you thought about breaking out of
the mold? What logos/branding/color scheme are you using? I would take out
the random photos link IMHO it takes away from the message of your site.

    Hi there,

I'm afraid I can't reproduce your problem locally, so I would suggest
eliminating dimensions/metrics until you can identify the culprit. Not all
dimensions and metrics are compatible, and at the moment the only way to
figure out which is to try the request. We're working on providing a better
    way of finding that out.

    Hi,
I'm starting to do some tests using the Adsense Management API.

I need to get info filtering by a Custom Channel related to an specific
    Custom Search Ad

    So I'm doing something like:

    'filter' => 'CUSTOM_CHANNEL_ID=='.$channel['channelId'],

The problem is that this kind of filtering seems only to work for Content
Ads, so I can filter by custom channels related to content ads, but when I
try to get info for Custom search ads I get no stats. I guess it also
happen with Adsense for games custom channels.

Maybe the Api only gives data for Content ads?
    Thank you in advance

    Daniel Lopez <hoygan.ventures@gmail.com> Feb 18 05:53AM -0800

    Update,
filtering by CUSTOM_CHANNEL_NAME seems to work ok.

So the conclusion, or I'm filtering by an incorrect ID, or this kind of
filters only can be done by name, not by id

Government Control and Majority Governing Policy Opinions

Time to evaluate the way we as Canadian Citizens are affected by the
current majority rule, I value your opinion on this subject.

Please respond with what you as a taxpayer think of the spending of your
tax dollars and the involvement of the policy being rushed through
    Parliament with out proper debate.
The other political parties have suggestions,
those suggestions unfortunately are not given the time of day in not
    allowing debate on the issues.

Here is another subject we all have to pay for through subscriptions
to Satellite, Cable, and Mobile services.
The current policy of this country is to allow the placing of *advertising
on our TV as well as mobile phones, *this is costing us on average 60% of
the fees we pay for the services and I believe most do not want to pay for
the time when the adds are being shown.

Time for a Webpage with the real facts to be published, perhaps a BLOG, and
everyone that wants to contribute to this *FUTURE VISION for Canada*

It has nothing to do with the topic of this forum and us specific to Canadians to boot. You would better serve your cause by choosing a mire focused forum.

Neal - Are you looking for someone to design a site for you? You should
probably make it a little more explicit if so - Job Offer or something in
the subject. Otherwise, you're in the wrong forum.

    Good luck,
    Laurel

sorry I am new to this forum stuff, I was looking for suggestions or
comments about the idea of a webpage or a blog.
Yes I am Canadian, is there a problem with a Canadian posting on this site?
If that is the case I will leave.
I believe Americans have similar government ideals as well so am not biased
    to Canadian comments.
Can you point me to the right forum for this type of post.
    Thanks

The problem I have is that it is not related to the topic of THIS forum. This forum relates to web design and development and its members hale from all across the globe. You have not indicated that your post is related to web design or development; therefore it is not likely to be of interest to mist members of this group. You would be better served pisting in a Canadian political newsgroup. Good night.

    Laurel Hamrich <lmitro@cool-webdesign.com> Feb 17 09:27PM -0500

    Hi Neal,

Is this something you're doing on your own? Do you have a lot of content to
post, or is it more of a single issue site? You might consider a wordpress
blog where people could read the facts and make comments, and possibly
    connecting to something like change.org
    http://www.change.org/petition
    or ipetitions.com - http://www.ipetitions.com/

You don't necessarily need a fancy design, the thing you need to do is
promote the issue. If there's some other grassroots organization advocating
for it, they might be able to help you with an email blast, facebook, or
tweeting. If you're doing it on your own, it might be a little hard.

Do you have any social media like Facebook or Twitter set up? Sharing with
your followers might help. Also, if there's a related newsgroup for your
issue, posting in there with a link could help to drive traffic.

Hope this helps. Thanks and have a good night,

    Laurel :)

Yes on my own, I am interested to see if others feel the governing party is
taking liberties that effect all voters and tax payers. Most people,
especially in Canada, take what is delivered to them, weather they agree or
not and remain quiet. I myself want to be heard and also want to gather
info so it can be common knowledge for those that search for information.
Hopefully the postings, web blogs, will help them speak-out for the good of

Digest for adsense-api@googlegroups.com - 2 Messages in 2 Topics

Group: http://groups.google.com/group/adsense-api/topics

    Peter Chen <peter@sfrontier.biz> Feb 13 12:11PM -0800

    Hi Jose,
    The question is,
In api v3, we can add both host custom channel and client custom channel in
creating a ad unit for the publisher.
Then we can help the publisher to show this custom channel to advertisers
as a targetable ad placement, right?
Now in v4, we only can add the host custom channel, so how can we make the
    targetable ad placement possible?

    Thanks

    Peter

    Hi!

Yes, you should do this yourself because you need to store the account ids
    and the generated ad code.

    Cheers,

    Hi All:

can we import all adunits generate by api v3 one time?

    thanks!

    sorry chou <sorry.chou@gmail.com> Feb 13 11:23PM -0800

    Hi Jose:

thanks your response, so if i want to get report generate by API V4, i need
    to create all manually, right?

    Hi Google Adsense Team,

We are currently using the Adsense API to pull our daily AFC reports and we
grab the revenue numbers from the TOTAL_EARNINGS metric. An api call on
02/09/13 for 02/08/13 numbers reported the correct TOTAL_EARNINGS numbers
as shown on the web ui console but today's api call for 02/08 seems to be
reporting completely wrong numbers. Has something changed in the Adsense
API that could be affecting these numbers?

    Thanks,
    Patrick

As a work around you can use EARNINGS instead of TOTAL_EARNINGS which would
    give you the same numbers.

    Hi Google Adsense team,

We are currently using the TOTAL_EARNINGS metric to report on our revenue
numbers. An adsense api call on 02/09/13 for 02/08/13 TOTAL_EARNINGS
numbers seems to match the revenue numbers in the web ui console but
today's api call for 02/08/13 is returning the wrong numbers. Did something
change in the adsense api in the past few days?

    Thanks,
    Patrick

    Hi Patrick,

*TOTAL_EARNINGS* is a dimension that only makes sense in the AdSense Host
API (I'm guessing you are using Management API). It was removed this week
hence the inconsistent data you're receiving. The documentation is being
    updated right now.

Please use *EARNINGS* instead in the AdSense Management API.

I hope this doesn't cause you too much trouble and please accept
    our apologies.

Thank you for the heads up!
    Jose

Thanks for the clarification Jose. Much appreciated. We'll switch to using
    the EARNINGS numbers.

    Thanks,
    Patrick

    Hello,

I'm updating my code to use v4.1 and was testing association with my
sandbox account. Managed to authenticate, yet, by calling the "start"
function from the API library, following exception showed up:

    > /path/libraries/Adsense.php(52):
    > Google_AssociationsessionsServiceResource->start('AFC', 'www.example
    > in/path/libraries/Google/io/Google_REST.php on line 66

    Any ideas?

    Hi there,

That's really difficult to debug remotely. Has your sandbox been activated?
Anyway, I'd recommend you use the APIs Explorer to test the calls:

    https://developers.google.com/adsense/host/v4.1/associationsessions/start

If you use an incognito window you can make sure that you're using your
    correct sandbox account.

    Cheers,
    Jose

    Hi!

Can you rephrase the question? I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

    Thanks!
