I have never done SEO on a Flash website, I believe that are some
applications or plugins out there that do this?
Any recommendations on optimizing Flash websites other than redesigning it?

Holy crap I messed that up. At least you know what I was trying to say.
 
I have never seen a problem with a div in a td, ever. In fact, I think it
is a good practice to wrap content in a div. But if that's not working it
is probably because of the default CSS that the CMS is using. You should
be able to over ride that pretty easily.
 
Binaek has the proper old school alignments for tables listed, if you need
that. But even if the CMS is messing with you, you can over-ride it.
